Amateur Hiker who wants to learn more While I have been on plenty of romps around in the woods and gone down trails bird watching at local parks, its been ages since I've been on a real hike and even then it was probably what most avid hikers would consider small at 6 miles. My boyfriend and I enjoy camping but we have yet to go and camp somewhere that you have to hike into. I want to get more involved with this activity as I think it would be a positive thing to include in my life and I would get to see some wonderful sites as well as being a healthier person.
