Hiking is cathartic
Hiking is cathartic After living in urban areas during college and most of my 20s, I relish the opportunity to get some time away from it all. Now I use it as a way to break up my workday. I also prefer to get my exercise with a scenic view. I've hiked in Puerto Rico, Japan, California, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. I like scenic overlooks as well as lush rain forest. I find nature a nice way to distract from the hustle bustle of the world and reduce things to a more simple form.
