Grand Canyon Hiker I am originally from Zimbabwe. Have lived and worked in England and came to the US 26 years ago. Divorced 7 years ago and have three children. All over 18 years.
I work for a local government in the Phoenix Metro. I enjoy local hikes on weekends - Spring, Fall and Winter. Enjoy hiking the Grand Canyon a lot. Usually do two hikes per year. I am not an extreme hiker. I like to enjoy the landscape while hiking. It is as much part of the experience as the destination - not how fast I get there.
My other interests are most music as long as it is a good tune, soccer, my kids, international affairs, peace, going out, people watching, wild life, sometimes just hanging out at home. I am African-American, but race is not important to me. I am human first.
