Currently, hiking is my favorite pastime, but I have started biking recently, especially since I have been striking against paying these outrageous gas prices since November of last year. Unfortunately, I must discontinue that strike soon in order to simplify travel logistics for getting to and from work.

Pertaining to TV-entertainment, I'm a Sci-Fi/fantasy chic, who also enjoys dramas and is a total sucker for romantic comedies. I hate that Firefly survived only one season. While I enjoy House, Heroes, and Rescue Me, Bones is by far my favorite show. I love to read...mostly sci-fi/fantasy. Robert Jordan's untimely demise is a crying shame as the Wheel of Time series remains unfinished. I understand Brandon Sanderson is to finish the final book, but every author has his own signature.

Being the oldest of eight has endowed me with patience and tolerance. Three of my siblings have provided me with four nieces--all of which I love spoiling when I visit.

Within the next few months, I'll be taking the GRE and applying for graduate school in the biological field. Since I am looking at out-of-state grad school, I am currently only looking for friendship.
