I love to hike, ski, or fat bike on trails, either in the woods or on top of a hill. Fortunately I live in Duluth which has an amazing trail system. Some of my favorite hikes have been along the north shore of Lake Superior, in the Olympic and Cascade ranges in Washington, the area around Sisters in Oregon, Glacier Park, the Porcupine mountains in upper Michigan, the Bighorns of Wyoming, the Front Range in Colorado, the area around Squamish and Whistler, and the Jotunheimen and Hardangavidda in Norway. Banff is high on my bucket list, and I’d love to hike on big Hawaii in the hopefully near future.
I very much enjoy meeting others and hear their stories of cool places they’ve been and the people they’ve met along the way. A hike is fun solo but it’s even better with a friend or a group of friends.

If you live in Minnesota, Wisconsin or the UP, I’m always up for a hike, ride, ski or paddle.
