In the heart of hiking country Am in an ideal location for hiking: the southwest edge of the St. Louis region. Many miles of Ozark forest trails and river greenways within a short distance. Many of my hikes are with my dogs, ideal hiking companions. Would like to hike from Taum Sauk to Johnson's Shut-Ins when they reopen that portion of the Ozark Trail.
